iNode Care Sensor #5; active scan detection functionality has been added; this makes it easy to determine whether the iNode is within range of the scanning device – the LED flashes twice in this case; in addition, the Range Test function can be enabled via the iNodeSetup programme (from version 4.14 onwards) – the LED flashes rapidly to indicate the detection of an active scan for 15 seconds following the last broadcast during which this occurred; the way alarms are signalled has also been changed – the LEDs are switched on in sequence and alternately; Beta version;

iNode Care Sensor #5; the method of encoding the temperature in the broadcast frame has been changed: if bit 15 == 1, then the temperature value (bits 0 to 12; in two’s complement code) must be divided by 16 to obtain the result in °C;

iNode CS#5; active scan detection functionality has been added (via a second LED); this makes it easy to determine whether the iNode is within range of a scanning device; the feature is enabled when the battery is inserted and the device is reset (at which point it is disabled when a connection is established) or via the iNodeSetup programme (from version 4.14 onwards); the LED flashes rapidly to indicate the detection of an active scan for 30 seconds following the last broadcast during which this occurred; Beta version;
